All through the Bible, our spiritual lives are compared to plants. We begin to grow when we send our roots down into the truth of God’s Word.
Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.
Psalm 1:1-3 (NIV)
At Evergreen, the place we begin to send down our roots is at the weekend services and monthly mid-week services. Then deeper roots can be sent down through Evergreen University. To grow, we only need to hunger for the truth. Please attend regularly.
Weekend Services
Vist our weekend services page to find information about upcoming messages and directions to our location.
Celebrate Monthly
God is doing great things and it is worth celebrating and the best celebrations happen with a crowd! The third Wednesday of every month is the time we "celebrate" God's goodness and His great works. We worship Him through music and prayer. We report on what God is doing and give thanks. We remember the cross through communion. We rejoice over new commitments several times a year through baptisms. Visit our Midweek Services page to learn about upcoming meetings.
Evergreen University
Evergreen U is the teaching ministry of Evergreen-Bloomington offering short term classes, seminars and studies. But more than that, Evergreen U provides an opportunity to “connect” with others at Evergreen in a place where you can discuss and better understand biblical truths and their value in everyday life. Evergreen U offers learning opportunities for all believers at any point in their spiritual journey. Visit our Evergreen U page for schedules and descriptions.
