Our promise for our building:
Your road led through the sea, your pathway through the mighty waters—a pathway no one knew was there!
Psalm 77:19 NLT
A path appeared in the Red Sea that no one knew was there. God rescued the Israelites by opening the Red Sea! A building appeared for us that no one knew was there! God “rescued” us from Oak Grove by opening up a large building in a fully developed suburb in a tax-free zone!
After the Israelites passed through the sea, they found themselves in a desert, without food and water. God did this to find out what was in their hearts, to see if they would really obey His commands (Duet. 8:2). After our incredible miracle of a building, God brought us to a “land of scarcity.” The needs of the building have outstripped our resources. God has done this on purpose to test our hearts, to see if we would continue to obey and trust Him.
God provided for the Israelites in unexpected ways in the desert. Water gushed from rocks. Manna appeared every morning. Quail flew in, on the wind, from the sea. God provided just what they needed—just in time.
Praise the God of unexpected provision! The Lord provides! Yet, there are building needs that remain. We would like to give God an opportunity to provide unexpectedly. Visit the links below to learn about these two areas of unexpected giving.
