prayer

Sunday

Our History and Future

Praise God for the people that have been reached and our successful ministry these past 20 years, first at Oak Grove and soon at our new Bloomington location.

Joshua 1:9 NLT

I command you - be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

Monday

Faithful Leadership

Thank God for our church leadership who have prayed and relied on the power and wisdom of God to love and serve our church and community.

2 Timothy 1:7 NKJV

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Tuesday

Ministry Expansion

Pray for the expansion of our ministry, in both our church and our community, that will be made possible in our new permanent facility.

Philippeans 1:6 NLT

And I am sure that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on that day when Christ Jesus comes back again.

Don’t forget to participate in the all-church prayer time – Tuesday Lunch with God. We join together as a distributed church body at our work and schools to pray through these important items.

Wednesday

Salvation for Many More

Ask God that He would move mightily through us to see more people come to the saving knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Matthew 28:19 NLT

Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Thursday

Deeper Discipleship

Pray that we as God’s people will learn how to be better disciples, attractive to the world, reflecting the love of God for our community and world.

Matthew 28:20 NLT

Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.

Friday

Joining in Giving

As with King David, thank God for the privilege to join with Him in His work. Pray for the specific giving you will make to our facility and expanding ministry together.

1 Chronicles 29:13-14 NLT

O our God, we thank you and praise your glorious name! But who am I, and who are my people, that we could give anything to you? Everything we have has come from you, and we give you only what you have already given us!

Saturday

Choosing Great Faith

Pray that our giving might reflect the faith that God has built in us as individuals, families, and as a church. He gives us hope and sees us through life’s trials to build great faith.

I Peter 1:7 NLT

These have come (salvation as well as trials) so that your faith – of greater worth than gold… – may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.

2 Corinthians 9:7 NLT

You must each make up your own mind as to how much you should give. Don't give reluctantly or in response to pressure. For God loves the person who gives cheerfully.
